Welcome to the new Deputy, the result of many months of software coding, design development, strategy meetings and listening to customers.
Our sole objective was to create a new work world where everyone’s professional life becomes a more rewarding experience, and your business performance is positively transformed.
Today, we deliver on that promise. The Deputy team has worked incredibly hard over the past few months to provide you with the best product possible in order for you to transform your work life.
We are delighted to unveil new communications features, and significant improvements to the way you can create work schedules, run tasks, and communicate more effectively with each other. Furthermore, we are excited to reveal our new geo-location feature allowing you to see where staff are checking in for their shifts. Our aim is to allow you to get on with the important task of making your own business profitable and efficient, by creating a more connected organisation.
We have added social features to Deputy, because that is the way we communicate with each other in our personal lives and how we increasingly expect to at work too. The new Deputy includes more intuitive messaging tools, a personal work profile for each individual, and an interface that allows people to quickly see what they have been tasked to do.
Colleagues can see who they are working with, and managers can quickly scan profiles to see who is available to work and when. Deputy’s mission is to help people connect at work, handle new tasks efficiently and quickly, and get the right person to do the right job at the right time.
We realise that as the web continues to enrich our personal lives that professional workplace tools can be intuitive, simple, and serve to make work more rewarding and satisfying. That’s why we put so much effort in to make our product design, workflow processes, and look and feel as attractive as possible.
If you are new to Deputy, we believe the lifeblood of successful businesses is excellent communication between teams. If everybody in your workplace knows what needs to be done, we believe your business will benefit greatly.
The original concept of Deputy was to create a virtual assistant to reduce the workload of managers struggling with overseeing teams and taking care of administrative duties. When Deputy started in 2008, we believed we could help businesses realise their potential and use technology to better their work life.
We sincerely believe the new Deputy achieves that goal as we are now becoming embedded into the daily fabric of our customers.
We welcome your feedback, questions and comments. And if this is the first time you have read about Deputy, we encourage you to learn more or to sign up to see how much of a difference Deputy can make to your work world. You may also want to view a Sky TV interview we recently did. We would love to share our vision with you.
